The 2006 Viognier is a blend of three selected Mountain vineyards, each offering unique characteristics. The Honeychurch vineyard Viognier located in Shenandoah Valley gives a tremendous nose of white peach and banana, complemented with complexity derived from its barrel fermentation in French oak. The Roussanne from the Elenridge vineyard in El Dorado County provides great mouth feel layered with floral notes and a hint of almond. The tiny amount of Marsanne from the Fenaughty vineyard completes this wine in the style of a full body white Rhone. [More Information]
