NEW! 2007 Viognier Wine
Our 2007 Viognier Wine returns to a dry white style Rhone wine with lots of complexity from the vineyards. The Honeychurch vineyard in Shenandoah Valley has some of the smallest Viognier berries to be found, and is our most intensely perfumed wine of the blend. Our other selection is from the Fenaughty vineyard high in the hills of El Dorado County. This high country fruit provides a balancing act of bright fruit acid and wonderful minerality. The Roussanne, also from El Dorado County is once again from a unique vineyard setting, as it perches on the edge of a cliff overlooking the South fork of the American river. This cooling effect helps build the intense almond and butterscotch notes in the wine.

2006 Viognier Wine
The 2006 Viognier Wine is a blend of three selected Mountain vineyards, each offering unique characteristics. The Honeychurch vineyard Viognier located in Shenandoah Valley gives a tremendous nose of white peach and banana, complemented with complexity derived from its barrel fermentation in French oak. The Roussanne from the Elenridge vineyard in El Dorado County provides great mouth feel layered with floral notes and a hint of almond. The tiny amount of Marsanne from the Fenaughty vineyard completes this wine in the style of a full body white Rhone.
