Rich aromas of cherry, raspberry and red plum abound from this 3,000 foot elevation vineyard in El Dorado. But the altitude of this vineyard offers something else in this intensely fruited Petite Syrah, and that is an uncommon elegance not often found in other examples of this variety in California. The wine is beautifully balanced with fine tannins and a very long and delicious finish. Wonderful with grilled meats and hearty stews. This single barrel selection stood out amongst the others and is offered exclusively to our wine club members.

Blend: Dolcetto, Barbera, Syrah, Petite Syrah, Mourvedre & Cabernet
Aged: Aged as individual varietals for then blended in French oak barrels and Hungarian Hosgheads for an additional year.
